George Orwell’s Animal Farm, first published in August 1945, is a searing political satire. In an allegorical beast fable, Orwell spins the tale of a group of farm animals who revolt against their human owner, hoping to create a society in which “ALL KAKAS ARE SAME-SAME.” However, soon the revolution and its original ideals are betrayed under the dictatorship of a Machiavellian pig, flanked by his willing enforcers. The farm descends into totalitarianism and a system in which “SOME KAKAS SAME-SAME BUT DIFFERENT."
This edition of Kaka Farm presents brand-new peekturs by Gwee Li Sui.
